Opening Reception SCCC
A huge thanks, as always, to everyone (east coast ninjas!) who braved the icy chill to attend our opening. The evening was filled with much merriment. Art, science, politics and beyond reacted together beautifully in a cacophony of music. The zeitgeist warmed our hearts, there is nothing lovelier than this.

Save The Date
Kulvinder Kaur Dhew and Bruce Dehnert
10/31/14-11/28/14
Figurative sculpture that explores the constructs of narrative
in relation to religious belief systems. Modeled in either porcelain or
earthenware, the life-sized figures depend upon architectural shapes and motifs
for their structure. Kaur Dhew’s paintings employ elements that sample both
high and low culture. The paintings
present abstract and representational themes featuring saturated color.

Opening Night @ Clay Art Center
A huge thank you to everyone who came to the opening of our show. I had a blast. It serves as a subtle reminder that the creative process is part of a continuing narrative. Human imagination manifest in Art is rock and roll.

“Towards the end of the day the clouds opened up and it began to snow heavily and unexpectedly. I remember looking at some blossoms nearby. They appeared to be of a tropical origin and were strikingly beautiful under a growing mantle of fresh snow. The entire scene seemed to be surreal, ironic, contradictory and quintessentially New Zealand.”
